This is a 100% original, promo poster, put out by CBS Records in 1979 , promoting the US release of the Clash's 1st album.
This was a promo only item sent out to records stores for in-store display, and not something that was  available or sold to the general public,  thus making it quite rare.
It has the item # "P-36060" printed in the lower corner.
It's an unusual size (
dimensions are:  18" x 40")
, and is a fantastic item.
Has a few minor tears , pin holes, from when it was displayed in a record store ( see pics)   , but is in very good overall condition and will look great framed.
