    Description

This is sheet music for the song “Mickey” (lyrics by Harry Williams; music by Neil Moret, pseudonym for Charles N. Daniels). It was “adapted” from Mack Sennett’s “photoplay” (silent movie), also named “Mickey, starring Mabel Normand.”
"Mickey" is considered to be the very first movie title song.
    The song was
copyrighted in 1918 and published by Daniels & Wilson of San Francisco and New York. The song can be heard in some public domain releases of the film.
Mickey was a 1918 silent comedy-drama film starring Mabel Normand, directed by F. Richard Jones and James Young, and written by J.G. Hawks. The movie was produced by the Mabel Normand Feature Film Company. It was released by Mack Sennett's studio.
The sheet music contains four pages and measures approximately 9 x 12 inches.
Also, sheet music looks great matted and framed!
