Luxor Supreme 1920s Banjo Ukulele Banjolele

This is a wonderful little banjo ukulele I bought it a couple years ago and have hardly played it. It made by Globe in Chicago for the distributor Horenstein & Sons of NYC. Luxor was their house brand. It’s in great shape, The neck angle and action is perfect and it plays and sounds great. Really fun bright tone to it! It has the original head, which is still tight and doesn’t have any holes. It has a bit of writing which is hard to make out, but a fun little time capsule. the neck and fretboard are in great shape, with just a few minor little signs of age, including some wear on the fretboard from someone who loved to play a G7 chord, but it doesn’t affect the playability. The tuners have been replaced with reproduction friction tuners. Currently has Aquila red low G strings on it, but it sounds great with regular high g nylons as well!
