  • Condition: The item up for sale is an antique cigar advertising pocket humidor made circa 1898 - 1905. It is a folding paper cover / wrapper which contains 20 individual sleeves connected by perforated paper. Each sleeve would have held a single cigar. The sleeves are made of a waxed paper covering two wooden slats. The wrapper measures 5 X 3 1/2 inches when closed. The sleeves measure 13 1/2 inches long when unrolled. The front cover has a repaired vertical tear through the length of the left side; the wraps have bends in the corners, small spots on the back side & age toning; the sleeves are age toned and a few have very small tears on the ends; and the sleeves have separated along one perforated line into two sections: a section of five sleeves still attached to the wrapper and a section of 15 sleeves detached from the rest.
