    Description

This offer is for an antique barrel shape cigar holder/humidor.
    The barrel
    measures 5 1/2" tall  with a 3" diameter interior.
Factory 902 1st Dist. Mich. was the Brown Bros.Factory of 1898 until it was sold to American Tobacco Co. in 1901.
The 'Cigar Makers Official Journal' dated April 1918, pages 720-728 states that the 902 1st Dist factory was a non-union cigar factory that sold 5 and 10 cent cigars.  Apparently they were sold in these 5 1/2" wooden barrel shaped containers.
The factory was known as the American Cigar Co. Trust Factory.
The 5 cent brands sold were:  Cremo, Chief Battle, Lillie Russell, and Trust Seconds.
The 10 cent cigars were LaPanetelas & Benefactor.
    The barrel is empty.
The barrel is in excellent antique condition. There are no cracks, chips, or crazed finish. Terrific antique patina.
The shipping quote is for the 48 contiguous states.  International shipping is available through the eBay Global Shipping Program.
