    Description

    This is part of my mom's collection of all things cast iron. She had a huge collection of all kinds of cast iron sad irons and trivets collected over 30 years. It was a family obsession! Some were inherited from her mother. Her brother, James Ellwood wrote a great reference book on Trivets & Stands

    DESCRIPTION/CONDITION
    Please examine photos carefully and consider them a part of your description.  Most of my antique items are from my mom's collection - smoke and pet-free home for 20 years.  Keep in mind that vintage or older items are not always perfect either from use, storage, etc.  I am not an expert, but I will try to point out any obvious imperfections or major flaws.  I do not clean most items - I leave that up to the buyer, that is not my expertise and I do not want to damage an item.
