A fine antique pottery humidor of a tiger. Pottery such as this is sometimes referred to as Majolica, probably produced in either Austria or Germany.
Quite a lovely piece and will make a great addition to any appreciator of Majolica, Porcelain and Pottery.
Repaired condition - This piece is repaired in a very high degree of quality, probably professionally - there is one large repair above the left eye, as well as a repair at the bottom left rear. Several parts of the glaze must have chipped off at one point, both upon the cap and the body, and have also been repaired to a very high standard.  Some roughness and fleabites around the top and bottom rims, commensurate with age. Minor areas of paint loss. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. As they are part of the description, please enlarge all photographs to better ascertain details and condition.
