Ask any and all questions BEFORE buying!
BUYER is responsible for doing their own research to ensure they are buying the
    correct
part(s) for their speakers, application, or DIY project.  And... for
judging whether part(s) is compatible with their speaker's specs !
Once purchased, the order will NOT be canceled for any reason, and there are
    NO RETURNS!
For sale is a pair of 4" MID WOOFERS removed from a set of vintage Nivico BLA-104E 2-Way bookshelf speakers.  Part # is A11EC80-01F and there's also a number 64 7722 ink stamped on magnets (no idea what this means, and I found no speaker mfg # using 64 which might have indicated an EIA code, with 77 being the year made).  "Nivico" is the early name for JVC.  Magnets are stamped with 8-ohms and 8W (though the speakers sounded fine with more than 8 watts RMS input.).
Specs from original speakers as listed on back labels are 45 - 20,000 Hz freq response with 5000 Hz crossover freq.  Power rating of 12 watts into 8 ohms.  Actual DCR for these measures about 7.4 ohms as expected. Although the label with specs refer to these as 4" woofers, the diameter of frames, across center of woofers is 4.5" and distance between adjacent screw-holes is 3 & 5/16".
These look identical to a similar driver with part # A11EC80-02F, used as a full-range driver in some Pioneer speakers, Allen organs, Atari Arcade games and possibly other brand/model speakers.  There are several A11EC80-02F drivers for sale on eBay and most refer to them as 4.5" drivers.  I'm sure these -01F suffix drivers are the same physical size as the -02F suffix drivers but have no idea if the specs are the exact same for an -02F vs an -01F ?
If anyone knows who the OEM might be, and what if any difference in specs could be, please message me so I can revise description with more details!
Again, BUYER is responsible for judging and deciding whether they can use these mid woofers as good replacements for their specific speakers or application, etc !
