This is a classic OEM style home or studio woofer. It's designed to be a universal replacement in vintage home speaker enclosures. It's often an upgrade from the basic woofers that came in old school cabinets "back in the day". Also an excellent value
and great choice when building your own project speakers.
It features all of the classic design specifications like many original woofers, although with modern improvements. Rigid steel basket, reinforced paper cone, foam surround, 20 ounce magnet structure, and a real 50 watts RMS/100 watts peak power handling. Nothing else comes close in this price range.
This woofer is typically sold to repair shops and service centers to make them a good profit on customers old blown and rotted speakers. We get a great deal and are passing the savings along. Save up to 50% or more compared to any specialty shop.
