    Abandoned paper wasp nests were removed from barn rafters in Door County, Wisconsin in 2017, and kept in a lidded plastic container until  2021 when this listing was created.  Upon opening the plastic container, there was an odor that I am at a loss to describe.  Just wanted to mention that so there won't be any surprises when you open them up from the shipping packaging.
    One appears to be fully intact.
    The other (slightly smaller one) appears to have inner cave-in beginning to occur.
    These two paper wasp nests will ship carefully packaged: first placed in individual plastic bags, then boxed separately, and lastly - placed in one larger box and stuffed with padding to keep the 2 inner boxes from moving around.
