1876 Piano Sheet Music with Illustrated Cover, entitled 'By The Sad Sounding Sea. Lyrics: Annie M Curtis. Music C. F. Shattuck. Published by F. A. North & Co., Philadelphia. Lithograph was done by Tho. Hunter. Offered is the complete 6 page Sheet Music, including the covers. (Note-the inside cover is blank, and not shown.) A Mrs. Mollie Henderson, stamped her name at the top of the cover. It is in excellent condition - with very no edge wear or chipping, and no foxing to be seen. There is a tiny tear at the top of the cover. Music was removed from a book of sheet music, therefore, the spine while intact is ragged, and the cover is partially detached. Everything else is in excellent shape, considering this sheet music is more than 140 years old. (Please see the photos above and below.)

This  "1876 Piano Sheet Music"  measures approx. 10 1/2” X 13”. Offered here is the complete 6 page Sheet Music, including the covers.    (Note that the inside cover is blank, and not shown in the photos.)  The original owner, Mrs. Mollie Henderson, stamped her name at the top of the cover.
We found no version of this song on YouTube, so if you are a musician you could be the first one to record it and upload it there.
